This day marks the 2 year Anniversary of opening Whitetail Vineyards & Winery and somehow it feels like we blinked and built a dream at the same time.
When we started this journey, we knew it would take hard work. We knew it would take patience. What we didn’t fully realize was just how beautifully wild the ride would be — especially while raising four young kids alongside it.
There are days that look like early morning emails, sticky little hands helping in the kitchen, school drop-offs, wine discussions at the dinner table, and late nights planning what comes next. It’s busy. It’s loud. It’s a little chaotic. But it’s also incredibly special. Our kids are growing up watching what it means to chase a dream, to work hard, and to build something “from the ground up” together.
Whitetail isn’t just a business to us. It’s a family project, a passion, and a vision we’re shaping day by day.
Over the past 4 years, we’ve poured our hearts into learning, experimenting, and refining our mistakes. And we’re so excited about what’s ahead including 2 NEW Dry Red Wines that are in the works for this year. We can’t wait for you all to try them!🍷 Also, since you LOVED our VignDictive so much, we are making twice the amount for this year!
Behind the scenes, we’re also slowly exploring the next big step, a physical location for the winery. This is something we discuss often, a place where people can gather, celebrate, relax, and experience Whitetail in the heart of the Poconos. I know people are as eager as we are to have a physical location… We are taking our time, making sure that when we open those doors, it will be everything we believe a winery should be… warm, welcoming, beautiful, and built to our standards.
If these first two years have taught us anything, it’s that the best things take time. And we are so grateful to everyone who has supported us, encouraged us, tasted our wines, and cheered us on. You’re part of this story, too.
