It has officially been one year since we’ve opened! What was once a dream, is now a reality. We started this winery because we wanted to support our community and our family. This winery is completely based on love, commitment, and family. When we bought this house and Matt said “one day we’ll have a vineyard in our front yard”, I was thinking like 10, 20, or more years down the road. But when we both lost our jobs in 2020/2021, we knew we had to change our lifestyle in order to support our family. With our love for wine, we both knew the next step. It was beyond scary and worrisome. Starting a new business on top of having two very young children and trying for another, we decided to take the leap. In 2024 we weren’t only blessed with opening our winery, but we were also blessed with our 4th child, Adalie. The past year has been absolutely amazing, yet absolutely crazy. There’s been many highs, many lows, and some in between, but overall we did it with the help of our community, friends, and family.
Matt and I thrive on being part of the local community, which is why our slogan is “This is for you, this is for us, this is for Pennsylvania.” We love this slogan because it’s close to our hearts and we want to be and stay local, forever. We want our wines to be at every special occasion for you. Whether it be birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, dates nights, etc. We want our wine to bring you joy. Family is so important to us and we want to show our children that if you work hard, you can achieve anything.
I’m often asked, “How do you do it? Having 4 children, being a stay-at-home mom, and running a winery business?” And my answer is, “Honestly, I don’t know.” LOL. All I know is when I wake up every morning, I know I am doing this for my children and my community. They say it takes a village to raise a child; and I need all the help I can get. I’m a firm believer that if you give to the world, it gives back. This is why we try to provide our community with high quality, low cost local wine to celebrate all of your cherished memories. We want our wine to taste amazing and flavorful. Which is why we don’t over filter our wine and let the grape be the star of the show.
We put so much pride and love into our wine, and that’s what it’s all about. Working hard and having a little help from your friends and family. With that being said I just wanted to thank my parents, Jennifer and Jerry Iovino; Matthew’s parents, Karen and Bob O’Connell; our very close friends; and our community for making this happen. We couldn’t do it without any of you. With that being said, remember to support the locals because the heart and hard work is there. This is for you. This is for us. This is for Pennsylvania.
